In my opinion its one of the best plug in/app to spend your time on. When you sign up to SU you select around 50 interests. Once you have picked these interests you are ready to “Stumble,” or randomly view a site that the StumbleUpon’s algorithm recommends to you, you simply select “Stumble” and you will be navigated to a site that was selected based in part on interests.
Whilst stumbling whenever you see something you like or dislike, you select the thumbs-up or thumbs-down button. You don’t have to do it for every site, but the more you do it, the more you Stumble the more SU will know about you and your interests.
All your likes (thumb-ups) get placed in a folder so you can go back and look at them later. I do warn you it is highly addictive and very fun, i can assure you i will end up posting a lot of what i find on here.
